Forum Seating welcomes to the Ilie Oana Stadium

On the 23 of September FC Petrolul Ploiesti played the match of inauguration on the freshly renovated Ilie Oana Stadium. 15,000 spectators could have watched former glories of FC Petrolul playing with today stars of the local team. Over 100 musicians, artist and singers created the show which took place afterwards.

FC Pterolul was founded in 1924 in Bucharest. In 1952 the club moved to Ploiesti, where it joined the local team. Since then, FC Petrolul was playing their club matches on Ilie Oana Stadium. The facility has been lately renovated. During the refurbishment, the players had to travel to the other stadium, over 50 km away from the city. Thus the fact they could finally come back to their maternal object was even more enjoying. We proudly announce that Forum Seating has its input in this project. The company has installed 15,000 chairs there. 10,000 chairs of Omega line together with 5,000 Sigma chairs create an extraordinary impression of this small, yet colourful and vibrant stadium. Moreover, the VIP boxes of Ilie Oana were equipped with comfortable exclusive Oscar chairs. Thus the history of FC Petrolul Ploiesti can gently take its course, while Forum Seating has completed its portfolio with another realization in Romania, after installing the chairs at Lia Manoliu Stadium in the middle of the year.
